Welcome to Everyday Rituals, our guest series where we slow down and chat all things hydration, wellness, and lifestyle.
This month, we’re catching up with Kelsey: Flow’s Director of Sales and a true eight-year Flow veteran. Kelsey has learned that wellness isn’t about checking off a perfect routine; it’s about the little, intentional choices that add up to feeling your best. From sipping water first thing in the morning to keeping self-care simple but consistent, she’s mastered ways to stay energized and grounded, even on the busiest days. Her approach is all about balance, practicality, and making wellbeing feel natural, not like a chore.
Grab a Flow and settle in - here’s how Kelsey keeps wellness flowing every day.
Hi Kelsey! You've been with Flow for eight years. What's the biggest way your relationship with wellness has changed in that time?
I've shifted from thinking wellness had to be perfect to understanding it's really about consistency and balance. Eight years ago, I thought wellness was all or nothing - you had to hit every workout, eat perfectly, and follow the latest trend. Over time, I've realized that it's the small, intentional choices that matter most: drinking more water, prioritizing sleep, and making sure to get outside for fresh air each day. Those tiny habits add up and have had a much bigger impact on my energy and wellbeing than any "perfect" routine ever could.
What's one wellness trend you've tried and quietly kept?
Drinking water first thing in the morning before coffee. It's so simple. I used to reach straight for my cup of coffee without thinking, but I noticed a huge difference in my focus and energy when I started hydrating first. It's become such a non-negotiable part of my morning that I almost can’t start the day without it, and I love that it’s a small habit with such a big payoff.

What's one Flow belief that’s truly shaped how you live day to day?
That taking care of yourself doesn't have to be complicated, and that the quality of what you put into your body really matters. This mindset has guided how I approach everything from meals to hydration to self-care routines. I try to choose things that are nourishing and simple, rather than overthinking or chasing the latest trend. It's helped me build a lifestyle that's sustainable, enjoyable, and genuinely supports my wellbeing.
How do you like your water?
Ice cold. The colder, the better! Nothing beats a crisp cold 1L OG Flow.
Are you a slow morning or jump-out-of-bed person?
I'm definitely a jump-out-of-bed person. I like to get up and get going, tackle a few tasks, and set the tone for the day early. Having that morning momentum keeps me energized and focused, and I feel like I accomplish more when I don't hit snooze repeatedly.
How do you remind yourself to drink water on busy days (without turning it into a chore)?
I make water part of my environment and my routine, so it's almost subconscious. I keep a bottle within reach at my desk, in my bag, and even next to the couch when I’m relaxing at home. Over time, it just becomes part of my day so I don't have to think about it.
